Five Ways to Own Your Worth
This is a big one for many people and it is often hard to summarize how to do this!
But when I thought back to my own life, and what I have gone through, experienced and become stronger as a result of, I realized that there were some similarities in how I handled those situations and I wanted to break it all down for you.
#1 Release the Story
You are not your story. But when we start to loop the stories in our head, it gets into our subconscious mind and we begin to believe it. Even if it’s not true. And this is very destructive to your mental well-being and your current state. What you think and believe will manifest into your reality. That’s how it works. (i.e I am a failure. I am never going to be successful. I am not good enough, etc.)
#2 Get Clear on Your Values
This is so important and most people don’t know what their values even are. Keep in mind, these can change and they will change as you grow. But if you don’t know what yours are, you don’t know what to look for, what you stand for and what you will tolerate in your life. Values are like guiding lights. Without them, you are likely feeling quite lost! We need to get clear on these if we are going to move forward.
#3 Overcome Those Limiting Beliefs
These suckers hold us back. they tend to be in the driver’s seat, telling us what we can and can’t do and they suck. They are false beliefs that prevent us from pursuing our goals. Like pursuing that dream job, going after that relationship or starting something new.
#4 Reprogram the Subconscious Mind
Unlocking this is the secret to your future success. It lies behind our awareness and holds our deepest desires. It’s an intricate system of neural processes and patterns within your brain that influence your thoughts, emotions, and behavior which you are unaware of. Many of which can keep us stuck, unfulfilled and unhappy.
#5 Take Aligned Action
It’s time to put your words into action. If you truly want something, you can’t just will it into being. You have to believe it, feel it, and do it. No more sitting on the sidelines and wishing things would change! As I say, messy action is better than no action.
Like I said, all of this is easier said than done. But the common denominator here is that you need to rinse and repeat. This is not a one-and-done story. Just like exercising, you can’t go to the gym once and think that you are in shape now. You have to put this into practice on the daily.
